The warm weather has brought a flurry of Rhododendrons here at Ty Canol. Whether they will be available for the garden party in a few weeks time is somewhat debatable but there are some other attractive buds popping up round the gardens so there should still be planty in flower.
Set in the Carmarthenshire countryside 4 miles north of the centre of Carmarthen at an altitude of 600 feet. Some exposure to the westerly winds blowing from the Preseli mountains but the tree planting in 1991 manage to create a peaceful and still haven in the lower parts of the garden.
