Tree Lily

These were a real surprise when they started flowering in the area we planted earlier this year alongside the arbor.  The delicate shade of pink that suffused the white has slowly increased in intensity since this photo was taken.  having seen some of these lily heads popping over the top of a six food fence, I can’t wait to see how they will develop over the next few years.   This year they are just babies but the prefix “tree” gives it a way I guess!
