I love this time of year when all of a sudden, the wisteria comes out in full bloom. We had few days of warm weather and all the buds began to open. This example alongside our patio catches the sun for a large part of the day. Interestingly, I noticed that the young white wisteria that I planted in the white hidden garden a couple of seasons ago is also in bud. I will keep a close eye on that one and try and get some follow up pictures as they bloom.
Set in the Carmarthenshire countryside 4 miles north of the centre of Carmarthen at an altitude of 600 feet. Some exposure to the westerly winds blowing from the Preseli mountains but the tree planting in 1991 manage to create a peaceful and still haven in the lower parts of the garden.
