Dahlias at the Botanical Garden of Wales

i

I have had to create a new category of ‘visits’ to allow me to consider postings that relate to plants or features I would like to introduce to the Ty Canol gardens at some point.  I have fallen in love with dahlias this year and the feature picture here is one I really have a ‘must have’ feeling about.  I need someone to advise of the name or will need to see it in a picture at a garden centre.  That said, I have already enjoyed the ones planted and flowering this year at Ty Canol, not least the orange beauty that my camera keeps returning to.  I may well have to post a newer photo that shows how the flower has developed.

The other photos are of others captured at a cent visit to the Botanical Garden of Wales.
