White Buddleia and Butterflies

In some respects, the white buddleia must be the most perfect of the butterfly bush colours to show off the beautifu colours of some of our native species of butterfly. For some reason, the 2011 season has not been good for my white buddleia. I therefore have taken the opportunity to include these photos for the 2005 season.
Set in the Carmarthenshire countryside 4 miles north of the centre of Carmarthen at an altitude of 600 feet. Some exposure to the westerly winds blowing from the Preseli mountains but the tree planting in 1991 manage to create a peaceful and still haven in the lower parts of the garden.
All the photographs in this site have been taken in the garden or from the garden (such as some of the photos of birds)
